DAN FELTON - A CINDERELLA STORY INDEED!!!

Dan Felton wisked into town Tuesday night to shoot Barney's catalog on Wednesday w/ Alasdair McLellan & Panos Yiapanis. He was scheduled to return to London on Thursday evening but as luck would have it, he ended up confirming T Style Magazine - a one boy story with Alasdair McLellan & Beat Bollinger and had to extend his stay in NY for one more night.

For those of you who don't know the story, I scouted Dan on his last day of vacation here in NY back in July and had to fly back to London the next day for his job as a tattoo artist and manager of a downtown London tattoo parlor. Since then, he's shot 10+ w/ Magnus Unnar & Hector Castro...which turned out to be the cover story as well.....and Another Man magazine 2 weeks ago w/ Solve Sundsbo & Nicola Formichetti....all this without a book and while juggling his day job - a very impressive resume indeed. I'd say his book is off to a rocking start, wouldn't you??? And it couldn't happen to a nicer guy. :)

This is what I love about fashion....the foresight of key people in the industry taking chances and creating stars. Funny how this happens more in Europe than here in the states. Thanks to all who had a helping hand in Dan to this point! :)

CHRIS PULLIAM....TRANSCENDING BEAUTY...AND YES, A BEAUTIFUL CREATURE IN THE NEW "VOGUE HOMME JAPAN"!!!

I got an email today inquiring about this photo in the new "Vogue Homme Japan" and asking if this was Chris Pulliam. I immediately replied....with a proud "YES". The response came back within a second of my hitting "send" and the message was "BEAUTIFUL". Nicola's work has always impressed me and I've always dreamt of getting some of my models in front of him. Well, this superceded my wildest expectations. He makes the raw, natural beauty transcend even the most elaborate adornments. Wicked!!!!!
